The Health Minister welcomed the NI Assembly’s support for Northern Ireland’s inclusion in the UK Tobacco and Vapes Bill.

Minister Nesbitt said the bill would "save lives" and reduce pressure on health services.

The Department of Health’s consultation on the sustainable and cost-effective use of medicines in Northern Ireland is currently open.

The consultation will run for 12 weeks and closes on 26 February 2025.
