It's raw edge applique over a somewhat painted background fabric. I fused on the batting as a stabilizer and once I add the backing, the free motion quilting begins. 🙂

You lose them bit by bit but your love for them remains constant. As does the grief. It's so hard.

It really is shocking how little these people must read the gospels, understand who Jesus is and what He taught his followers. You'd almost think they've made God in their own image.
