When I had David sign my Paper Hearts script, he said "Oh, Paper Hearts" like he was really inviting a conversation about it, and all I could manage was "Yeah" 😳 So Bravo to Jess for having such a lovely conversation with him about the episode and Vince!

I get that she was in on it and therefore knew who he was, but I also feel like the film glossed over the sheer terror that situation would invoke in reality.

I'd only seen Vertigo once so I rewatched before before listening to the podcast. I was unprepared for how strongly I didn't like the film 😲 I appreciated all the qualities you discussed, especially the colors. But I found the scene where he took her to his apartment so horrifying on so many levels.
