3D accessible interactive and tactile version of Mappi Mundi created in collaboration with archivists & digital curators across Europe: An English interpretation of the Mappi Mundi. A rough estimate of where places are & Wales is somewhere to the mirror left.. Chained Library.. configured to look exactly as it did before 1840s. Books would be unlocked & placed down on the desk still attached to the chain. Books would be placed with their pages facing outwards, so the chains wouldn’t get tangled up when taken off the shelf.
