My son had his dog euthanased because he was becoming stressed when, for instance, he heard dogs fighting and it couldn't be trained out. Very upsetting, but the right thing to do. Here he is with Roxy

Cooked two Jamie Oliver '5 ingredients' dishes this evening. (Slight tweaks). Teriyaki chicken and sweet potato salad with feta.

I cooked pancakes with bacon and maple syrup for brunch. The pancakes were 'manta-ray' shaped rather than round, because life's too short to cook one at a time...

Just back from my dog walk. Some advice for other dog walkers:
1. Keep to the footpath across farmland. You don't have the right to walk around fields and let your dog run all over them.
2. Pick up the dog poo. Just because it's not on a pavement doesn't mean it's not fouling.

Ha ha. Roxy is #1 a sniffer and she doesn’t always fetch, often she leaves it somewhere remote.
Currently have my son’s dog staying, bulldog breed and big. He likes tugging and it was hard work playing with both with different preferences 😂

Ha ha. Roxy is #1 a sniffer and she doesn’t always fetch, often she leaves it somewhere remote.
Currently have my son’s dog staying, bulldog breed and big. He likes tugging and it was hard work playing with both with different preferences 😂

Roxy update:
Newly adopted Roxy is a delight. Her only 'problem' is getting overly excited about people and dogs when out walking. Lead training progressing fairly well. Oh, and whining when left alone (but I don't hear it 😝)

Today's volunteering event just completed - coffee morning in the village hall. I'm not the barista, I'm the cashier 👍🏻
