What you need is the MVP system that gets you going. I literally handwrote this to avoid distraction. The more steps you add, the more friction there is to get started.

5) you don’t have the time to do a blog well.

You’re a therapist, the more time you spend with your clients the better! That’s your zone of genius. Focus on what you do best!

But if you want to publish valuable content online, social media dominates over blogs.

(& consider hiring a ghostwriter 😉)

4) tech secret: social media hates external links.

They want users to stay where they are. More time on the platform is more money for them. External links take people away so they don’t get as many views.

Just writing directly on a social media platform would do better than linking to your blog.

3) you’ll get no feedback on if your writing resonates

Nobody comments on blog posts anymore. Look at mega popular blogs and how many comments they have compared to their page views. Is your blog getting the same traffic?

Without feedback, you don’t know that you’re writing is helpful.

2) you have to do the work to attract readers

You need to tell people about your blog, there’s no algorithm showing people your work. Someone might Google the question you answer in your post and find it. But how confident are you that you’ll be the first link on Google?

I wouldn’t bet on it.

1) maintaining a blog is hard

Do you want to write long pieces regularly? Do you understand your website hosting platform well enough to format everything correctly? Do you have the space in your schedule for writing every day or week in?

You don’t have the energy.
