I live in a small city but it has 4 libraries on the same system within 15km of where I live - I use ALL of them! So good. Though I did go to the wrong one by mistake to pick up the next in a series yesterday, so did a little tour of town to go to the correct one. Worth it.

Yes, love it when people find each other again, but that sure was an unusual one - Looking forward to seeing where THAT goes!

Yeah, somewhere along the way I decided to just enjoy what was going on & not worry too much about the payoff at the end. Enjoyed it a lot more later in the book once something gets cleared up...

I'd given up on reading this twice before, only started again this time as it was the only book downloaded to my phone when I was waiting at the doc recently...

Everything Atwood writes is great, but particularly love the whole MaddAddam series!

One snippet from the future - and remember this was written in 1999: “Donald Trump was building a pyramid in the Nevada desert to house his eventual remains. When done, it will be ten meters taller than the Great Pyramid at Giza.”

Reading a few shorter books after finishing Realm of the Elderlings books a couple of weeks ago - but then I finish them SO quick & have to find something else to read!! Need something else epic soon...

Heard lots of good things about this one! You've reminded me to put it on my TBR.

The Eyes of God by Mark Kreighbaum, sequel to Palace which was co written with Katharine Kerr. Great world building in this a real sci fi/fantasy mix. Read it years ago & really enjoying the reread!

Definitely on my TBR!!
