It is absolutely infuriating that R's - especially in ID - refuse to accept that without health insurance citizens won't be able to afford the medications that keep them healthy and alive. It's insanity.

For sure. My skin is so much thinner (literally and figuratively, lol) and things that wouldn't leave a mark before are now leaving a mark that stays for weeks! Switching up lotions seems to help but it can only do so much.
Oh, the joys of getting old!

The year I turned 60 it felt like I really got old. When I tried to explain it to my younger friends I would get the puppy head tilt as they told me, 'but you don't LOOK older'. I FELT older. It was wild. Last year I read an article that said humans do experience a more pronounced aging around 60.

At the time, it felt like my family was unusual because of that weird circumstance - I didn't tell ANY of my friends. When I got older I learned we were not and that the secret got out anyway because believe or not, Chicago is a small town.

My mom called me (in the 80s) said she had dinner with her sisters. What? You only have a brother. Yes, that's how I found out my grandfather had a side piece and more kids. Interestingly, when gfather died the other woman and her kids were not mentioned in his obit. He was still married to my gma.
