So I’m calling it, Project Dragon book 2 has moved from rough draft to draft stage. Don’t get me wrong no one gets to read this mess of words but me just yet. However it has a beginning, middle and end. The story is there. Now I’m going to have a red 🍷have a great weekend all!

Nothing like heavy rain on a tin roof & rumbling thunder. Love it. Except this time I can see blue sky out of the windows on both sides of the house. Do you think it’s a sign that the Muses love or hate my dark epic fantasy? 😳😂

I’m wrestling with the plot which is equal parts of frustration and fun. The fun of revising book 2 when you gutted plot points from it and shoved them into the revision of book 1… lol

I did the Rough Draft Challenge last year because I actually was rough drafting a new WIP. This year I’m revising so not officially participating. The funny part is because I’m writing the new chapters of book 2 first, I’m way ahead of where I’d need to be if I was participating. 😂

I had a great day today. The sun was out. I took my little fluff ball her walk and play in the park. Did some organising of my notes from my brainstorming session for the revision of project dragon book 2.
Tomorrow I start the revision stuff!

It’s official. As of today Project Dragon book 1 is with my beta reader. Tonight, instead of working, I think I’m going to watch something frivolous on Netflix. Right now however I’m going to take my little girl for a play in the park!

I’m back home today after a couple of amazing weeks down south. I got so much done. I finished a rewrite of project dragon book one, printed it, did a mark up for edits and I’m halfway through inputting them!

No matter how many times I’ve done this it never ceases to amaze me how many notes for revision I end up with when I get to the stage of printing it for that final read though before someone gets to read it. For those who insist they write clean, not my experience. Lol.

Things are progressing, I’m working my way through a physical copy of the draft of Project Dragon, Book 1… also I didn’t get wet taking the dogs for their walk today. Woot!

So I’m at that part of the writing process where I’m rewriting. Moving book one of Project Dragon from draft to first draft. For me at the end of this process people (a select few) will get to read it. 🤔 I still call it a first draft but technically I guess it’s a fourth draft.
