I saw this quote today and felt it resonate like a familiar bell. Without libraries, without the vast amount of books and stories and services to share, we become isolated as we search for meaning to life’s mysteries.

It’s good to have nature breaks! Put your ear to the speaker to hear the great horned owl. It calls just before the crows caw. We came across it on an evening walk today. It’s at the top of the tree-can you see its horns?

As we travel across Florida today, we are reminded of its unique beauty and place. Earlier, we had a little delay due to a couple of loose cows. The handlers were out there with lassos. We passed “watch out for” warning signs for bear. Saw some Sandhill Cranes and an alligator hunting farm, too!
