They're not particularly tall peaks (up to around 2000 meters), but they're plentiful and they're beautiful. Much of the north Island is sparsley populated, and of course the mountain ranges are inhabitable.

Thanks! Yeah, there is an abundance of mountains here on the island. The geology is quite spectacular.
