I'm quite nervous, hopeful but nervous.

Very much so. Did you hear about PP's survey on their website?

He will never be able to unify Canada, which is especially important at this time due to the threat posed by Trump.

I've had enough. And from this moment on, every time I see these toxic tactics being used to divide us, I will speak up. Silence is complicity, and I refuse to be complicit. Not on my watch. Who's with me?

Stay informed. Support leaders who focus on real solutions. Most importantly, vote in 2025 to ensure integrity, respect, and democracy prevail.
March 19, 2025 at 8:44 PM
The 2025 election isn’t just about policy anymore—it’s about rejecting the toxic, Trump-style politics that thrives on division, anger, and personal destruction.

Canadians deserve better. We need to ensure that this kind of politics is not the new normal & stand up against toxic, divisive politics.
March 19, 2025 at 8:44 PM
This isn’t about left vs. right—it’s about basic decency. If Poilievre really believes he’s the best choice for Canada, he should make that case based on his policies, healthcare, and economic stability, not by dragging Carney’s family into the mix, especially by highlighting them on his website.
March 19, 2025 at 8:44 PM
Now, Poilievre is trying to do the same thing to Carney.

But Canadians are watching. They know Poilievre's tactics and his willingness to break political norms, embrace misinformation, and target an opponent’s family, which shows exactly what kind of leader he is.
March 19, 2025 at 8:44 PM
This is straight out of the same playbook Poilievre used against Trudeau. For years, he & his base worked to redefine Trudeau—not just as a political opponent but as someone to be vilified. The attacks weren’t just about policies; they became personal, relentless, & often fueled by misinformation.
March 19, 2025 at 8:44 PM
Poilievre’s decision to break that norm sets a dangerous precedent. If this becomes acceptable, we’re opening the door to an even nastier, more personal style of politics that will only push people further apart.
March 19, 2025 at 8:44 PM
While Cleo Carney has publicly supported her father, that does not justify targeting her or her siblings in a political campaign. There’s a long-standing understanding in Canadian politics that family members—especially children, regardless of age—are off-limits.
March 19, 2025 at 8:44 PM
It’s about tearing down an opponent by highlighting his family, and it’s exactly the kind of politics that’s poisoning discourse in Canada.

Let’s be clear: Carney’s daughters are not politicians.

The world is watching. Canada’s sovereignty is at risk. Let’s hold our media to higher standards and ensure they rise to the occasion.

Let’s remind them that Canadians deserve professional, balanced, and meaningful journalism—especially during international crises.
March 19, 2025 at 2:50 PM
As Canadians, we expect better from our public broadcaster. The CBC represents us on the world stage. Journalists like Barton should prioritize substantive issues, not partisan controversies, especially during such critical moments.
March 19, 2025 at 2:50 PM
This wasn’t just unprofessional—it was damaging.
~It projected false narratives about Carney’s integrity.
~It undermined the gravity of Canada’s global engagements.
~It sent a poor message to allies about Canadian journalism’s focus during a time of crisis.
March 19, 2025 at 2:50 PM
Instead of asking about Canada’s security, Trump’s threats to annex Canada, importance of these global partnerships, she implied he was acting in bad faith financially, despite his clear compliance with ethics rules even before needing to.

Her remark, "I seriously doubt that," was uncalled for.
March 19, 2025 at 2:50 PM
During the press conference, Carney had just met with King Charles & President Macron to discuss critical issues like:
~Canada’s sovereignty, threatened by Trump’s rhetoric
~Security cooperation for Ukraine
~Escalating economic tensions with the U.S

What did Barton focus on? His personal finances.
