Yeah, replying is fun! :)

Would love to see Mount consistently back to his best.

He’s been perennially injured in his time at United. Certainly got his due in his best years.

To the immigrants shopping at Target, or the other immigrants?

Ekitike with a shocker.

I think it’s difficult to ease the reliance on Salah without replacing him. He adds nothing in the buildup. Slot got this wrong sticking with the same lineup. World’s difference between Madrid at home and City away.

There’s tons of money / opportunity. Americans just don’t like living abroad 😂

Incredible that MLS thought it could become more popular by restricting virtually every match to its equivalent of League Pass. I can watch so much soccer through my already-subscribed streaming platforms.

One thing that feels evident when watching Liverpool: there’s a lack of chemistry between new and old. Salah and Wirtz haven’t quite figured out how to be dangerous together, especially as they’ve started to occupy similar final-third profiles.

The BJ run was actually one of their best. Ultimate roll-the-ball-out play, allowing the Euros to cook.

Genuinely curious: what sort of moves would you prefer vs. what they’re doing now? And what is your comp for such a leap? (2025 OKC Thunder?)

Funny how they popularized it so much, and so long ago, I feel we’re at the “inverted” crossing stage of popularity by now.

What would have been an “ok” transfer destination that would simultaneously make sense given his talent level + accomplishments to date? It says a lot about Liverpool that only Madrid as a next step even made sense.
