Catsploration is a level 0 adventure. Our next adventure will take place at level 1. That means we need to revisit and expand our character creation menus. A lot of the options here are placeholders, I'm still uncertain how many feats and features will be implemented. #indiedev #cat

So that's it! That's the first new hazard. There's quite a lot of polish here let to do, but I can work out the smaller details over time.

Another effect of sickness is that we can't eat or drink, so it's time to add a contextual button for potions. We can only drink a health potion after we've cured our sickness.

To cure our sickness, we need to use the Retch action. It might take a few tries, depending on our fortitude. #indiedev

To poison the darts, let's make use of the Sickened condition. The sickened condition will give a -1 status penalty to all DCs. #IndieDev

Darts are very small, and they rarely hit the player! I could make the dart's hitbox larger, but instead it might be more fun to have a repeating dart launcher?

The sequel will be full of hazards, so this means the first meaningful new feature to be added is HP. And to test damage and hit points, we'll need a hazard.

I've been playing Skyrim lately, and I can't help but think of the poisoned dart trap, which is a recurring encounter in their dungeons.

Now that I've released my first game, it's time to start on another.

The name is still to be decided, but a temporary name can be "Dungeon Cat," since the cat will be in a cave/dungeon this time.
