That didn’t used to be a reason for non service. Not in Salt Lake anyway. There are special gloves I’ve used to handle claw-aggressive cats, but not in a groomer capacity. You’d think that a cat groomer business knows enough to use those gloves, though.

That was a gut-wrenching movie. The death of Diane Fossey, murdered before Weaver could meet her, made “Gorillas In The Mist” all the more poignant. Fossey’s assassination brought far reaching attention to conservation in the wild.

Good ol’ Joan Baez. I haven’t been a a big fan of her music, but she was part of building an important era of folk-rock. Her music was vibrant. Her persona has been one of peace, grace, and generosity. She earned much respect.❤️

I do as well. Meanwhile, my loved ones from afar give off that, “you must be so lonely” tone during our rare visits. All I can do is smile and use my, “you worry for nought” look. It has become a regular thing that way..

Cool! A giant snapper came into our yard from Lake Minnetonka. That thing had a beak and claws! 😱 Our cats were freaked out and in full flight mode hissing and spitting. Our neighbor friend carefully used a flying saucer sled to drag that beast back to the lake. Wild times.🐢

If they reflect a variety of Americans, so much the better. If they don’t, I don’t rely on them. Stats are great as long as someone isn’t using bias to select data.

I didn’t say she was making stuff up. I said Maddow was gleeful about reporting the Gallup Poll figures. Since I’m aware poll numbers have been off before generally, it’s those I’m skeptical about.

I notice a certain glee from Rachel Maddow as she reports the dastardly President’s disapproval numbers. While I don’t think polls can be accurate overall, these numbers have an element of truth.

Speaking of bruxism, it caused me to eventually lose 2 teeth. 🦷🦷! I had to get a tooth guard, but at least I figured out my nightmares wherein my teeth are falling out & I can’t stop grinding.
