I really adored listening to the scene between Khalil and Linda last night. It was a well written scene. Gritty, handled some of the ‘R’ word issues (and I don’t mean rural) impressively and gave us a glimpse of a lovely budding friendship. The actor who plays Khalil is excellent #TheArchers

Fallon - it was hard listening as she swayed from going along with Harrison to Yorkshire for a new start, to staying behind and calling each other intermittently. Emotionally sounding so fragile. I’ve always thought they’re a good couple. It is a rare shame. It’ll make for some good SLs #TheArchers

Surprising how quickly Hannah was spooked on her date with Chris last night. I’ve always thought they make a great couple. Her reaction felt a bit rash. I hope she gives him a fair chance. #TheArchers

Joy is one of my favourite Ambridge residents. Her kindness and good counsel knows no bounds. I wish she was involved in more SLs. Another tantalising reference to Rochelle. I’m hoping that SL unravels during this year’s festivities #TheArchers

The last few episodes of #TheArchers just come across like a monotonous BBC safety sermon. SLs foregrounding scammers, Ruth riding a quad without a helmet, Leonard speeding, Linda fearing calamity. Hoping the rest of this week peps up. It even makes Mick’s stunningly ‘bad’ Santa look good 😜

#TheArchers just caught up. Selfish Justin doesn’t apologise to Brad. He just pushes him into more work. Brad’s Uni opportunities are being threaten by Justin, Emma Kirsty’s demands. Tracey is right to try and back them off.

Sometimes I find Jakob’s directness mildly grating. Tonight, his honest attempt to give Paul some clarity and heart felt simple support felt spot on. #TheArchers

Paul is having a time of it. I do enjoy the character’s upbeat positivity and enthusiasm. Last night, hearing his rawer feelings about past relationships/ Étienne gives him new depths / vulnerabilities. I fear he is in for more angst when Denise returns from her holibobs #TheArchers

With the unfolding drama between Fallon and Harrison I appreciate how both sides have the right to their valid feelings. Tonight, I know Fallon was exceptionally distressed, her calling Harrison ‘pathetic’ especially the second time felt quite barbed and purposefully cruel. #TheArchers

A friend’s spare ticket had me at Carlos Acosta’s electrifying performance On Before. Ignorantly, I know little about modern dance but you know the #feels you get when you see something hauntingly beautiful, evocative & you know you’re the in the presence of pure artistic talent. #ballet #dance #joy
