If I did the math right, 8 billion over 4 years for 10,000 employees is $200,000 a year each person. That will cover multiple benefits such as medical and bonuses, and still have plenty for a way better salary than most people I know.

I've seen a Home Depot raid here in Houston, but local and State police were assisting and very present. In non-sanctuary states, they have the help of true professions

They don't care because these kind of hazards do not affect those in power. Floods, hurricanes, and fires won't kill the rich, so programs to predict and warn will be cut to pay for yachts and vacation homes. Here in Texas those jobs are already gone and we paid the price.
