Their responses usually include better relationships with and understanding of other services locally, increased knowledge on specific topics and experts to turn to on specific subjects eg mental health, domestic abuse.

I completely agree. To the point where when people say we need more data, my heart sinks. A much better approach is to ask front line practitioners (youth workers, community workers, social workers, etc) what they need to help them serve people better.
