My husband removed a chalazion from a baby’s eyelid today. He prescribed liquid augmenting (an antibiotic) for post op care. The uninsured family went to pick it up and it was going to be $1000. This is not a newly developed med! Daily, I’m finding ever more ways to be gobsmacked by the system!
