The EU wouldn't expend effort in taking us back because they know that a future change in government will result in yet another reversal.

I am a remainer, I voted to remain. I would vote to join in a heartbeat, however:
🔸We are not entitled to just rejoin.
🔸It’s not our decision.
🔸We won’t stand a chance unless we can prove that we are a safe & stable option.
🔸The UK has to work hard to prove that it could be a trustworthy member.

I was equally certain that I would never leave schools to work for an LA, but 20 years later I ran away to Birmingham again to work for the LA !

The one thing I was certain of was that I didn’t want to be a teacher. A broken heart and the lack of other opportunities in 80’s London led me to run away to Birmingham for a PGCE. I loved it from day one.
