i really hate dealing with laundry, but yesterday i had a helper so it wasn't too bad

this thing is absolutely unreal, appears to have shifted here from a video game universe
the entry area to an apartment with the usual clutter like backpacks and shoes, but you do not notice any of it because there is an extremely bright shiny jacket hanging in the corner that is giving off a halo of light from its own dimension

an overhead shot of the taku glacier, which looks like, idk, a river of rocks? between some mountains? it is Large more glacier, now it has a lot more blue and you can see (kind of) that what look like scores in a river of rock are giant ice crevasses of death another overhead shot, which you can tell because the bottom includes the pontoon thing of a seaplane. maybe this one looks like waves? there are pieces of very bright blue here and there this glacier picture looks like maybe an old wall? it's a dirty white with deep horizontal scores and shallower diagonal ones, guys, it's ANGRY ICE

yesterday I tried again to go to the glacier but picked the wrong trail (first photo). hard to beat the scenery, though
the "trail" I hiked, a dense and rocky forest floor. there are many shades of green, including ferns and moss-covered rocks and tree branches. there is maybe a place for a foot on a rock? mountains behind a lake, through a place where the trees aren't blocking the entire view stripes of blue and purple and pink paint the sky as the sun sets over the background mountains

tomorrow we're going whale watching and we've seen whales before from a large boat at a great distance so this time i got us a small boat to go closer, what could go wrong??! then i read moby dick
this is my photo of a fountain/statue in juneau of a humpback whale breaching that looks real and huge and like it's going to flop down and make a wave that will overturn whatever small boat I hubristically booked this is a publicity shot of terrifying giant open whale mouths looking to clamp down hard and destroy my leg/pride/rage
