Easter hunt for pumpkins in my overgrown patch (all from compost volunteers) produced these beauties. Looking forward to roasts!

It’s early autumn in Sydney, when we are supposed to start planting bulbs for spring. These jonquils are now flowering in my garden…

A parade of proteas 🌱

In my many years of snorkeling in some very cool places around the world, I've never managed to see my beloved cephalopods. Then a few weekends ago, while helping a friend do a ray survey in Camp Cove, Sydney Harbour, she found me a shy octopus and a couple of cuttlefish. So sweet!

🌱 There is something quite beautifully perfect about a chilli. This handful was harvested at lunchtime from my prolific fiesta chilli plant in my permaculture keyhole garden bed. Joy & abundance!
