This is my cat Takoyaki (also my profile pic)! He's my sweet, cuddly boy but he also loves to get himself in trouble when he's bored. Hoping to teach him to handle a harness & leash so we can go out in nature together!

If you go to DP Insights' channel, they have other videos with shock-language clickbait type titles. I've added a screenshot here so you can see what I'm talking about. I'm not sharing any of this as a slight against you, but because I believe we're all susceptible to misinformation & AI slop. 3/🧵

Hi Mozelle, I deeply admire Jasmine Crockett for how she speaks truth to power.
However, are there any 2ndary sources confirming this? I am wondering bc there is someone commenting on EVERY COMMENT on YT that the channel (DP Insights) shares fictional stories for entertainment. 1/🧵

My cat, Mr. Tako, is a wide-pan loaf. #takocat #🐙🐱 #octopaws

Taking a break from Serious Posts™️ to share some favorite photos of my chunky boy Takoyaki. Mr. Tako hangs out w/ me while I eat my breakfast each morning & it's one of my favorite parts of the day. He's super affectionate - headbutts & cuddles my legs constantly. His favorite thing is sweet talk 💜

One more for good measure! LOL

One of my friends once told me that my cat's eyebrows looked like extra eyes. Little did he know, I had already photoshopped this image because I knew Takoyaki was a Weird Little Guy™️ #takocat #🐙🐱 #octopaws

Here to give you a break from the stressful posts is my son Takoyaki, sleeping so peacefully in the window. He's a weird lil guy that would love to relax with you all. 🥰 #takocat #🐙🐱 #octopaws

Since my I'm "catdadmax", I should share pics of my four-eyed son, Takoyaki, right? He's a chunky house tiger with cute eyebrows and a naughty streak. He snorts to announce his presence. He loves to snooze on the windowsill & whine like a baby for attention. #takocat🐙🐱 #octopaws

This meme sums it up pretty nicely. Of course, the J6ers aren't his "friends" , they're just his disposable peons. But he won't tell them that out loud.

You're still telling me I'm going to hell for loving the person I love. You're still telling me that you're okay with eternal punishment for loving someone with the wrong body parts.

When I say I love him, it means I have romantic feelings for him, I'm not talking about just sex. That's not okay?

"La Farfalle" (The Butterfly) and "Il Serafino" (The Seraph) were how I used a pair of butterfly shaped masks. Fun fact: I also used this same blank mask base to make "Doktor" for myself.

"La Morte" is the third mask inspired by Phantom of the Opera - specifically the Phantom's Death mask from the masquerade!

"Sonata" is the spirit of music itself. This piece has decoupaged copies of Mozart sheet music. I loved the style of his writing. I am still proud of this mask but I could definitely improve upon it today.

"Soleluna" (Sun & Moon) came from Carnevale masks depicting opposites. This, too, had its roots in the Masquerade scene from Phantom of the Opera.

"La Macchina" (The Automaton) was inspired by steampunk aesthetics. I want to return to this theme in a future set.

"Il Viandante" (The Wayfarer) was the first time I added cloth to a mask. This piece ties into history, and how Venetians formerly wore masks and scarves for other occasions besides Carnevale. In the 13th century, masks were often worn for privacy and to escape rigid hierarchical class rules.

"Il Maestro" (The Teacher) is the obligatory Phantom of the Opera inspired piece. I remember people getting excited over this one when it came to bidding. I need to paint roses like this again 🖤

"Il Trovatore" (The Troubadour) was a freeform experiement - a combination of a harp and sheet music, representing a musician. I don't love this one, but that's okay.
January 17, 2025 at 10:01 PM
"Il Fiore" (The Flower) was 100% inspired by Eyes Wide Shut, which I watched for the first time making this mask set. I was in love with the floral filigree, but I did not nail this one as well as I hoped. I churned out this whole set in a month, though...

"Il Pagliaccio" (The Clown) came from many simple harlequin mask designs. I wanted to craft a warm, weathered diamond motif.
January 17, 2025 at 9:53 PM
"Il Cavaliere" (The Knight) was my second mask. This was simply a freehand design with puffy paint, based upon many other traditional designs. I thought it had a gallant look to it when I named it.

"La Sirena" (The Mermaid) was the first mask I ever made. Her pearl scaled surface was directly inspired by Lady Gaga's "88 Pearls" look!

"Carnevale di Venezia" is the first series of 13 masks I made in 2016 for a suicide prevention event in my locale. I took inspiration from traditional masks of Venice and some other well-known masks & kept my work in a color palette of black, white, & gold. Watch this space for more details...

"Asteria", the bonus 13th mask in this set, is a collage of all 12 constellations of the zodiac. I loved doing the research and crafting this set. Each mask meant a lot to me as I thought about the signs and the people I loved. I hope you all enjoyed them too.
