over the years! While this has been an adjustment that is still a work in progress, and that the place I am staying may not be permanent, this Thanksgiving visiting my family gave me that reassurance I needed that I indeed left home at the right time! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! (2/2)

in recent years have not felt the best for me. I’m not asking for validation, but more so me reaching out to all of you who may be in similar situations that the family adopt is sometimes better than the family you were born into. Find that family, even if it is just one person! You’re not alone!

divorced parents, they cannot be around each other. On the same note, years ago, my siblings and I cut ties! My birthday was a day ago and while I had aunts, uncles, parents, etc reach out, not a lot of them did and though the feeling mutual with my siblings, it still hurts! Thus, holidays (2/3)
