'Americana' (iykyk).

In 1978, Anderson coached 2 national teams in a Sambo tournament in Brazil. Rolls Gracie sought him out to coach him and his brothers in wrestling and alternative submissions. Rest In Peace to a pivotal legend in Grappling.

The 'Short Achilles' isn't new.

I might be able to find earlier video of what Erik Paulson calls the Figure Four Achilles from earlier decades and other martial artists, but this example sprang to mind. #CatchWrestling #LegLocks

Reverse Crossface has been around for a long time. Lou Thesz liked to use it with his STF. Carnie wrestler Dick Cardinal used it and even Billy Robinson mentioned he preferred it over the Guillotine (Twister).

There's a neck crank with a slight change to the 'nice' version shown in this video.

Before it became known as the Fujiwara Armbar in Japan in the 1980s (after Yoshiaki Fujiwara's notable use as a finisher), it was simply known as an "Arm Lever" in the Lancashire #CatchWrestling and British Pro Wrestling of the 1940s.

Also known as a waki-gatame in #Judo.

In 2019 where stats are available for both countries, 1,700 children under the age of 17 died by firearm in the USA. In that same year in the UK, the number was 15.

But a dumb fuck American Catch coach shares this ridiculous post to Instagram stories without a second thought.

It's the 21st in Japan, so that means it's the 32nd anniversary of the very first Pancrase event. I always thought this belt was really cool.

Funky Gator roll after a low swing single 👀 Certainly cool looking. Style over substance?

The England flag before Richard I changed it was much cooler. At least the Britons / Welsh flag stayed cool.
