The mama cat who showed up at our back door six months ago and her four kittens are also sending encouragement!

But my brain still immediately flips back to "this is scary and I can't do this" whenever someone else makes a comment about the mess.

Best wishes! I can relate to all of this - I have always been terrible at keeping things tidy. I've gotten a little better at it now that I'm the primary cook in the household, and (at least in the kitchen) I feel like I'm tidying for me.
