The first console that was mine alone was a Mega Drive, bought for me by my then BF now Husband.
I still own it and it was the first console my son ever played on.
It now lives in the Tower of Power.

It's a fun game, but every time I see the cover I get the music stuck in my head. 😅

I went out of my way to find this a few years back as my son said he wanted to play it, but I don't recall that he ever bothered. Oh well it gets to be in my collection anyway. 😸

I bought it many years ago in a dingy shop in the corner of a market, and although I can't remember exactly how much it was, I would definitely have paid less than a tenner for it. Bargain!

They are all great but the GBA-SP is probably the best as it will play games from GB and GBC as well as having a lit screen.
I do love the micro though. Fantastic little thing.

It's #MegaDriveMonday! This is my copy of Sonic & Knuckles, which I bought new on the day it came out. It's an awesome game, and being able to add Sonic 3 into the top was something very different. 😸

I never played it in the arcade, but I picked it up a few years ago for something like ten quid. A lot cheaper than it was to buy new, that's for sure!

My dad brought home a pong style console when I was a wee kiddie, so that was first.
The first that was actually mine alone was an original Mega Drive, which I still own, and was the first console my son ever played on.
