Anyway here's some shakshuka to keep you amused.

Ope forgot to keep myself accountable on semi regular posting. I managed to find and get Platinum games Legend of Korra up and running, and also finished it. It's a solid game, I recommend if you like Korra and Action games, or just like Platinum games.

So tonight we have Vietnamese fried chicken with a traditional Vietnamese dipping sauce. It tastes divine.

Boring one today, but the more interesting news is when you are out of white wine you can totally do a splash of mirin for de-glazing.

I had a period of time from about 2007 to 2014 where I was unable to play any video games at all* so as a part of making up for lost time I've started going through and playing games I heard about and wanted to play

Tonight's adventure: fish and chips. I cheaped out and used frozen battered fish, but the real interesting part is the chips: I pickled them for the last 4 days in a vinegar and herb solution so I can have salt and vinegar chips without the sog.

Experiment no.1 in adventures in Vietnamese coffee. My eventual goal is to make a combination of Sicilian/Turkish pistachio coffee blended with ca phe sua da, to make something sweet and pistachio-y for this summer.

Tonight's adventure: big ol plate of bulgogi, kimchi and brown rice.

Last night's cooking experiment: wasabi marinated salmon, sushi rice, and a sweet and spicy soy reduction.

The marinade turned out to be pretty mid but the reduction on the sushi rice was astounding.
