All rules of society depend on the majority agreeing to follow them, and now that so many millions are brainwashed into supporting lawless leaders we wil see decivilization rapidly erode this shameful country.

I appreciate your optimism but this country/government is already past the point of no return from authoritarianism.

One simple thing the party could do is use repeated talking points for unity and focus amongst their constituents which the right has mastered. It may be harder to enact that same effect on the left with its more logical independent thinkers, but the majority would find it comforting.
