If possible, most republics in Russia would seek independence - they are different nations, with a different language. So Russia sends the young men from these countries on the front line to die - not many return to fight for independence.

I believe much of the decline in democracies is due to a sharp drop in media quality.

for actual impeachment is 2/3 for sure. About initiation I'm not sure, but I think that the speaker of the House is the one who decides whether an impeachment process is initiated. And, the speaker Mike Johnson is a big Trump fan boy.

The real evil, the head of the snake is the Republican Party. They gave the power to a madman, they amplified the violence against the others (any human who is not a white, rich male). There will be no impeachment - in fact, there won't even be a vote on that.

It may be that Trump follows his own agenda, which is money and power. And many others were tricked into supporting him as they thought he cares about what they care (MAGA, Musk). Hitler was nominated chancellor since many thought he was easy to control.
