Is the majority of his base too stupid to know or care? I think not. Everybody buys groceries -- "a beautiful term: groceries. It sort of says a bag with different things in it". Everybody buys electricity. It will be fun to see MAGAts struggling with their cognitive dissonance.

Trump and Republicans already have the angry right wing goon vote, so Trump doubles down on cruelty just for ... what? Each Trump voter still gets just one vote. It will be interesting to see the Hispanic votes for Republicans in 2026. Bold strategy Donald.

Just like Peacemaker, Trump believes in achieving peace at any cost no matter how many people he has to kill. And Trump has an ugly helmet too, except Trump's is made from his (?) hair and shellac.

Continuing the shutdown, or D's acceding to R demands so 42M won't lose SNAP benefits Nov 1, will hurt many people either way. Allowing the R's to cutback ACA premium subsides will disproportionately hurt people in red states and counties. I'll send thoughts and prayers. From today's NYTimes:
