Nintendont virtual memory cards have replaced physical ones for me. Very easy to backup or edit any VMC from your SD via Dolphin, and per-game generated VMC avoids the hassle of corruption either from multiple region saves on same card or sometimes even for no reason at all (hate GC memory cards)
