On a personal notey body couldn't process pills to get to the levels needed to hit the cis female range until I switched to injections. Since then I had much better results in my opinion but also didn't have bad results on pills just was well below desired levels

Pills are also metabolized by the liver and mostly converted into estrone and other weaker estrogens. That can cause the effects to be lesser while also leading to increased risk of liver issues and venous thrombosis.

It isn't just about efficacy but also long term health and risks.
