10/10, very nice!

The game was made in GB Studio 4, with no plugins or external code. I wanted to make a point of using only built in tools seeing what it was capable of doing. This was such a cool experience and I was able to port it to an actual cartridge. It’s not perfect, but it’s mine and I’m happy I made it!

That being said if you aren’t feeling your current project freezing is fine! You might come up with something more creative/interesting later if you “let it cook”. The creative process is a strange thing. I’m not an exp dev myself, but do come from an art BG that has similar challenges.

I think there are two things to note, you are your own worst critic. If you feel it’s because your skills aren’t enough I think it’s good to learn to push past that thought/fear. Also staring small with short obtainable goals is helpful. Not looking to the end result but the exp that comes with.

Well, I was wrong, but also not? Never had the chance to play the GameCube version so that’s something!

I ask because I’ve had looots of issues with slow down during the process. With maybe 2 or 3 enemy actors on the screen it can slow to a halt. So I am wondering if using the Wait function with Frames is better for when (or to prevent) the engine slows down? #gbstudio #gameboy

I did love that! It showed the process of the build as Holtzman figured it out along the way. It was a nice touch that made it feel more real. And I didn’t know that! That’s so cool!

It’s my number 1 game that I stream ever since it came out! You get to be yourself in that universe and it’s fun regardless of busters or ghosts! It’s one of my absolute favorites!

My wife and I adore this film, we quote it to each other all the time! Plus the gear looked sooooo good! I’ve built myself an OG pack, but I really want to build a 2016 pack too!

I didn’t watch Enterprise until years after it ended solely because of that theme song… and then when I did watch it I loved it and was so mad at myself for not giving it a legit chance.
