Hold on to your boomer hat as I tell you that Conquest is one of the best games in the entire series and Engage early- to mid-game has more interesting map designs than a lot of fire emblem games do put together 😔

love love love a monstrous success option 👏 I’ve been using a similar “you succeed TOO MUCH” house rule in my game where the PCs are Huntsmen to sort of compensate for the fact that they’re routinely rolling dice pools of 12-15 😂

Oooh, I’m very curious how that works out for you. I’ve been chafing a little against some of the core CoD mechanics recently. Had one player who built a dreamwalking character, tried oneiromancy once, and was immediately intimidated away from ever trying it again 😭
