this is most likely my last weekend shift though so i just have to push though tonight and then i’ll have saturdays & sundays free to be glued to my bed.

today (saturday) is also one of my manager’s birthdays! right at midnight everyone hopped onto their walkies to wish him happy birthday and it was rlly fuckin cute. one guy even sang to him

work tonight started kinda yikes but it wasn’t too bad overall. some of the friday regulars are already getting all happy when they see me so interactions with them have been a big highlight :’)

i like my second job i promise! my position is just NOT built to be a one person show on friday nights. i’m always one of the last to leave because i’m stuck cleaning 30+ lanes PLUS the 20 or so tables by the bar all by myself. i left almost an hour and a half past closing tonight because of it.
