I feel bad for the people managing the Paris Climate Accords, because trying to get the USA to play ball in international politics is like inviting Dr. Jekyll to a dinner party, except instead of changing with chemicals or whatever, he changes every 5-10 minutes, seemingly at random.

Some firefighters battling the Palisades fire in LA are reporting that hydrants are coming up dry.

Southern California has gotten approximately .1 inches of rain since this past May.

The worrying thing about Musk and Trump is that it's very hard to tell when they're being serious, when they're joking around, and when they're unironically saying stupid stuff. I feel like people like them should be legally required to add tone indicators after every statement they make.

Been here for nearly a month, now. Deleted my old The-Artist-Formerly-Known-As-Twitter account, and I don't regret it in the slightest. I should probably post more, but sometimes I just don't know how to put my thoughts into words. Seems I am as much of an introvert online as I am in real life.

Seen lots of posts here about how Trump's cabinet is the dumbest cabinet in history. It's also probably going to be the most chaotic cabinet. His first cabinet had a turnover rate of around 92%, and I fully expect his second cabinet to have a higher turnover rate.
