Well second day fossil hunting at Lyme Regis (east cliffs this time) was much more successful.
A few wee things to take home as we can’t leave a beach with rocks in the pocket. Prize funds are a great chunk of rock with really nice calcite crystals and a small trio of ammonites.

Well my first Carboniferous fossil hunt was pretty successful!
A possible plant fossil, various pieces of shark/fish coprolite, including one in an ironstone concretion and a possible bit of coral (less certain on this so an experts who see this please correct me!)
Not bad for only my third time!

I’ve been attempting to paint the Space Marine 2 recruit edition box in a week. These are the first Nids I’ve painted in about 10 years and it’s been a nice diversion from power armour.
