When my grandmother came to the U.S. as an orphan in 1922, Eagle Pass is where she was allowed to enter and where she was given hope for a new life. I’m always grateful to this incredible border community.

(3/3) Republicans in Congress are targeting the most vulnerable to pay for tax breaks for their billionaire buddies. It is shameful. All Democrats voted against this legislation and I encourage folks to continue fighting, to stay engaged, and to keep making your voice heard.
