If you’re wondering what a “least weasel” is, they absolutely live up to the name. This is the least amount of animal you can have that can still meet the bar for “is weasel”

That’s the sound they make while gleefully massacring anything they can get their little teeth into.

Weasel concentrate. All the power of the weasels you know and live in a smaller more convenient package

I wonder what shibboleth these alleged pogromists are using to determine if someone is sufficiently assimilated or not. 🙄

For sure, it falls victim to the same exploitative capitalism as everything else. Owners here don’t pay a living wage to their workers either, though they certainly could afford to given what they charge.

I don’t know where you live, but where I am what people pay for horse boarding is nuts. More than enough to support a living wage.

More polar exploration should have included staying warm in a pile of musk oxen.

Let’s hear them out. If you give them Frum’s spot the overall level of self awareness should remain the same.

If we were going on looks and not the sound of the name I would be on team merganser.
November 6, 2025 at 7:00 PM
I’m all for waterfowl names but the merganser or cormorant are more imposing/predatory looking. I guess their names don’t sounds as cool though. Could have been worse, the Bufflehead is pretty similar looking to a the goldeneye. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buffleh...

The merganser is clearly a better duck.

It’s pretty rich for someone working at the Heritage Foundation to complain about “running cover for the most unhinged dregs of the far right”. You applied for and won a job at the turd polishing factory and are complaining that you’re catching a bit of splatter from the office next door.

Property requirements next I suspect.

Or to defray the public costs associated with that use, which may or may not include a value judgement.

Given his republicanism I remember thinking that if his advice was earnest he was either trying to limit the damage a tyrant would do or lay the groundwork for republic. E.g. a mercenary captain or a local militia might overthrow a tyrant with one leading to a republic and the other a new tyrant.

I always liked the interpretation of The Prince as Machiavelli giving deliberately bad advice to either mess with monarchists directly or to satire them. Sun Tzu seems more earnest to me in his attempt to limit the damage some noble failson could do.
