This is really insightful. It’s also hard to not notice that they also, to some degree, require a captive audience because they absolutely *loathe* being around other miserable conservatives (giving service workers a hard time, thanksgiving dinner rants, fighting no-fault divorce laws, etc)

Why are people so passive and smug about ~this administration~ not doing the evil things they clearly want to do? Like, doesn’t the record over the last several months show that they’re deadly serious about all their evil plans?!
