Why is "separate the art from the artist" always "ignore the creator's issues to keep enjoying the art" and not "put aside your enjoyment for the art to focus the creator's issues"?

#Rpg hot take - you shouldn't be able to be good at everything.
There should be a cap on how much of a skill tree you can complete and how much of the game is thereby accessible. 100% in a single play through makes plotlines a checklist instead of an experience
