Looking Back. An experiment with the sugar cane pulp paper, this time with a dip pen in walnut ink, then a brush with watered walnut ink for shading and background. This was the first piece of the new year.

Cold Wind And Silence Interrupted. A small doodle I did at the end of 2024, an experiment with dipping paper in my (mostly evaporated) pigment sediment saturated water cup. I wanted a way to reuse it, and I kinda like how this turned out. The second image has the first doodle of the year with it.
On the left is a spirit representing the cold wind of winter, on the right is a spirit representing the sharp noise that breaks the silence of winter (holding a large bell). A flurry of snow follows them both. On the left is the last picture I did of 2024, on the right if the first picture I did of 2025.

I know it's a little early, but here's a Yule robot that was for the November DMAR challenge! Our robot friend here is celebrating Yule by burning a decorated log.
