S tier…Crystal/BW2/Mystery Dungeon

Crystal is for the GIRLS! it’s so perfect to me playing as Kris just gives u max slay stat. BW2 is just perfect except for the Kyurem legends why were they not fire/ice and electric/ice? And mystery dungeon imo especially Sky are just the ultimate games

Sun and moon and remakes are my fave Pokémon games I jsut keep them out of S because the overdone cutscenes cut replay ability a lot for me(first run was so special tho) and the remakes are lowkey not really better? the story in base games actually makes more sense of Lusamine, and Battle Rev peak

A tier - SunMoon+Ultra/Platinum/OrAs/BlackWhite/Battle Revolution

these are all so good, my last Platinum run was my fave run I’ve ever done, Omega Ruby would be S if they didn’t skip the battle frontier, Black and White is actually difficult and amazing story

HGSS is perfect outside of the awful movepools for all my fave Pokemon.

B tier - ranger games, XY, Arceus Legends, SwordShield/HGSS

I love all these games despite their flaws, gamefreak gave up on XY way too early but this region was for the girls, SwSh was so colourful I love the Pokédex, the ost, the region, but majorly undercooked.

C tier - Emerald/DiamondPearl/Colloseum games/Pokken Tournament/Stadium

all good unique games just less replay value for me so in the middle I also love Hoenn region

Gen 9 i feel like this was the laziest most false form of ‘okay we’ll give u non-linear gameplay’ ever, I don’t like the protag characer designs, or terrastal, or Nemona, worst flying type designs, too easy, the region looks boring, but i do love Lokix, Iono, and the Tron legacy energy of Violet

D tier - RedBlueYellow/GoldSilver/ScarletViolet ..kinda unfair bc of the age we’re in but these are great games especially red and blue bc it’s so fun to play them broken and with the Mew glitch, they are all perfect in their own right we have just come so far, /3

F tier - Let’s Go games
E tier - FireRed and LeafGreen, Ruby and Sapphire (tbh i never got to play R+S and i just hate Kanto as a region and the Pokédex /2
