I also struggle w the cognitive dissonance cardiovascular health researchers/clinicians have, where “viruses impact on cvd rates” and “do no harm” is acceptable but “covid impacts on cvd rates” and “our duty of care includes not contributing to the burden of disease from covid” doesn’t register

If I am asking people to disclose their cardiovascular risks to me, to share of their own health and health experiences, I cannot simultaneously expose them to a possible additional cardiovascular risk, just because the state has told us it doesn’t matter.
