My insurance company denied coverage for the medication I needed in order to prevent a second preterm birth due to cervical insufficiency and my medical team found no workaround besides using a different, less effective medication.

My son was a 30 weeker. Though we only payed $100 due to our great insurance, his 5 wk NICU stay totaled $250,000.
Before Obamacare, preemie babies were burning through their lifetime coverage maximums before ever leaving the hospital.
Please fight for the ACA 🙏🏻
