Imagine if Hitler was not losing the war. Somebody tries to talk about an armistice and he says “fine, but the territory I am in is mine and you can’t sue me for war crimes”. He would have a quarter of France, almost all western soviet republics and would leave as a statesman. This is the 🇺🇸 proposal

The BBC affair is just another step in the way of dismounting the true headstone of UK democracy. It’s no coincidence. Institutions credibility fall together. Government, media, judicial power, are entangled with the incoming chaos.

The 1,000,000,000 time that US opposition tries to convince itself that Trump’s downfall is around the corner. How can so many intelligent people be fooled over and over?
Were the No Kings protests the largest single-day demonstration in American history?
Depending on who you ask, between 4 and 6 million people showed up – and according to one theory, this could be a turning point

If the rest of the world had said “enough” when Hitler tried to take over part of Czechoslovakia, WWII would have very different. Pretending that Metanyahu, Trump and Putin aren’t doing nothing special is the same kind of mistake.

When you watch September 5, the movie about the terror attack in 1972 Munich Olympics you can’t avoid imagining we had a whole industry focused on giving the news right 24/7. Journalism had many problems, but we were insanely safer than we are now.

If you pay attention, you will notice how the same pattern of increasing inequality by transferring money from the working class to the uber-rich is everywhere. It will end badly, but the elite simply can’t help itself.

The global state, from the economy to politics and personal bonds, often reduces to a belief that relationships need a victor and a loser. Even couples feel adversarial—her gain is his loss. We'll realise, like always, the hard way, that this mindset isn't the solution. #Relationships #Collaboration

There is always a clowning aspect of fascists rising to power. Nigel Farage, for example, is a mixture of Adolf Hitler and Mr Bean. JD Vance is a walking caricature. Before he rose to power, people described Hitler as a rail station waiter and a hairdresser. It’s a joke to fear, not laughing.
