Slab build built bowl made in 2024. Used a recycled white clay body and two Raku glazes: white crackle and turquoise luster. Fired using the American Raku style. It is not safe to eat out of due to the glaze type so I use it as a jewelry holder.
Hand built ceramic bowl with a simple flower carved in the center surrounded by 5 leaves. The surface of the bowl is a crackled white while the flower is a shiny bronze color with hints of turquoise peaking through. Ceramic cat calendar I made in 2024 using three different techniques: Mishima for the # and month cubes/cuboids, scafito for the spots, and slip trailing for the paw prints.
A rounded shape with a flat bottom with cat ears and paws(with 3d paw prints). A hole in the middle (facing out) holds two cubes sitting on top of a rectangular cuboid. The left cube reads 2 and the right cube read 1. The cuboid beneath reads JAN. To the right of the cat calendar sits two more cuboids that read DEC and MAY. It is bluish grey in color with undertones of orange/brown spots underneath.
