I know we just kind of accept money, power, greed, corruption, etc. but I don't think we consider actual egoist motivations nearly enough... the way information is brokered and kept from us so they can lie and work unhindered by our interference..

And that's before you even realize how colossal the intersectionality is for the houseless.

Veterans, trans, disabled folx, kids who are lgbtq and faced ostracization, abuse, etc. and ran away, people who were just isolated for too long...

It's literally anyone inconvenient. -_-

And the more we leave people on the fringes under "just good enough" or "indoors so we don't have to see them die," the greater that chance increases of devolving and turning feral, exponentially, day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute

Homelessness is a punishment used to sift out societal undesireavles where the act of being exiled, hunted and punished for the crime of being hit with a scarlet letter, in turn increases the chances that said houseless person ends up devolving and turning feral which in turn is how you end up with~

Come about yet. We're still treated like tinfoil crackpots. We're still held to the same normative standards. We are still treated as beasts of burden...

-sigh- One day, I hope folx will realize, we still exist when yall go to sleep at home and not all of us are at all what you think...

I'd be more worried about being able to eat anything.

And I'd never eat one of my corvid kin. 😡

I'd also be worried about having shelter for much longer too.

We lost more than what you think we gained, and folx at the bottom will continue to suffer more for it.

And that alone is the difference between us. I might eat crow. You might not eat at all.
