I was interested to learn in the Shedler article about the narrative surrounding Psychodynamic therapy being untested and "anti-science", which I wasn't previously aware of. Regarding therapist office visit notes being released to patients, I'm leaning towards notes being available upon patient's request. I believe jurisdiction then lies with therapists to decide whether the notes would be beneficial to the patient or hinder their progress. @drwilliamsharp.bsky.social
